Year 4 enjoyed a fascinating and memorable visit on Thursday to our local synagogue as part of their learning about Judaism.

During the visit the children were warmly welcomed by Rabbi Aaron, and given the opportunity to explore the synagogue, learning about its special features and their significance within the Jewish faith.

They showed particular interest in the Torah scrolls and in discovering how they are used during worship.

Rabbi Aaron shared lots of interesting information about Jewish traditions, festivals and daily life, helping the children to deepen their understanding of the Jewish faith. The children asked thoughtful questions and demonstrated excellent curiosity and respect throughout the visit.

The experience provided a valuable opportunity for the children to learn firsthand about a place of worship and to develop their understanding of different beliefs and cultures within our community.

We are incredibly proud of Year 4 for their exemplary behaviour and the way they represented Coteford Juniors School.

A big thank you to everyone at the synagogue for making our visit so enjoyable.
