We were very excited to take our class representatives on a special visit to Parliament last Friday.

Mrs Eckley, Miss Reid and the nominated class reps had the opportunity to explore Parliament and learn more about how our country is governed. Our representatives were fantastic ambassadors for the school and showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the day.

The visit was also a wonderful opportunity for our class representatives to think about what it means to have a voice and to represent others. Back at school, they will be able to share what they have learned with their classmates and help us continue to develop our pupil voice.

We are incredibly proud of how sensibly, respectfully and confidently our children behaved throughout the day. It was a memorable experience and a fantastic opportunity to see democracy in action!

Well done to all of our class representatives — you were brilliant school ambassadors!
