Year 5 enjoyed a wonderful trip last week visiting a local Hindu temple in Denham as part of our Religious Education learning. The visit gave us the opportunity to explore Hindu beliefs, traditions and practices, helping us to deepen our understanding of Hinduism.

During the visit, we were welcomed into the temple and learned about its importance as a place of worship. Children discovered how the temple provides a special space for prayer, reflection and community gatherings.

Staff and pupils were fascinated by the beautiful decorations, colourful images and statues. The children asked lots of questions and showed real enthusiasm for learning about the Hindu faith. They represented Coteford brilliantly and showed respect and curiosity throughout their visit.

We returned to school with lots of new knowledge and a greater appreciation of the importance of respect and understanding in our diverse community.
