On Friday 23rd October Mrs Boffey delivered our food bank donations to the Watford Haven New Hope.

Juliette was delighted to accept our donations.

The Haven is a support and advice centre for people facing homelessness. They offer humanitarian aid including hot food, showers, laundry facilities and clean clothes.

Their provision begins with intervention services which build relationships and offer support to people who are street homeless, including outreach plus and drop-in services; recovery services currently include emergency accommodation for 22 people and recovery accommodation with 10 bed spaces. They also provide two prevention services, a tenancy sustainment team and a HopeHomes scheme that offers low-cost rented properties for those recovering from homelessness.
