We are collecting till Wednesday so please do send to any family members who wish to donate to support your child in this venture.
Our tired children will be rewarded for their efforts this week. More details to follow! We have a number of tupperware boxes and large shopper bags leftover without names which the children do not recognise so please let me know if we have yours.
With warmest wishes and thanks

Every second Saturday of the month, April to October 2024, Hillingdon Council will be offering a free range of Cycle Skills training for residents' families. From children learning to balance and those learning to ride for the first time, to adults (16+) wanting to enhance their cycle skills or gain confidence on the road.
All sessions are free of charge and there is no need to book, however, due to limited space we must operate on a first come first served basis.
Session dates:
Please note:
All applicants will need to be accompanied by an adult on their training sessions.
Learn to Balance. This is a session from 10am to11am,
For children aged 4 to 6-years-old to learn to balance using balance bikes, specially built bikes without pedals, to encourage independent balancing without the need for stabilisers. The first step to riding a bike.
Learn to Ride. This session is from 11am to midday.
For children aged 6 to 10-years-old, to learn to ride using pedal bikes, in preparation for their 'bikeability' on road course, offered to all year 6 pupils throughout the borough.

We celebrated the Muslim Festival of Eid-ul-fitr with a special assembly and non-uniform day last Friday.
The children really enjoyed learning about all of the artefacts and how we celebrate Eid.
Thank you to the speakers, who did brilliantly and thanks to Mrs Qureshy for organising!
NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe Programme
We are participating in the NSPCC's Speak Out Stay Safe programme for children aged 5-11. The child friendly programme is aligned with the curriculum and consists of virtual assemblies and supporting classroom based activites.
If you would like more information on the programme please visit the link above.
We had a wonderful Easter Service for the whole school this week. Fr. Seymour from St.Lawrence Church came along to lead the Easter Celebrations and there was some amazing singing from our enthusiastic students!
We've been having a fantastic World Book Day with a visiting production of 'OLIVER TWIST' from M&M Productions. The children's Victorian outfits have been amazing, as are the lovely decorated plates which are coming in to school. We look forward to our parents visiting this afternoon to see the work in the classrooms. What a fun day!
Our children have had a lovely time at GUNNERSBURY PARK MUSEUM, learning about what it was like to be a pupil in Victorian times. The children's outfits were superb and fitted in perfectly with the very strict Teacher and Inspector, who doled out their punishments with relish!
Please look under Parents/Online Safety for resources to help parents support their children online. We have recently added a link to this really helpful CHILDNET presentation which was available for staff, but which we think parents would really benefit from watching:
