This week our pupils enjoyed a wonderful sensory pantomime performed in school by Head 2 Head Sensory Theatre Company.

It was a truly magical experience for everyone involved. The production was specially designed to be fully inclusive, allowing all children to take part, engage and enjoy the performance.

From the moment the show began the hall was filled with excitement. The cast used clear storytelling and vibrant costumes to bring the story to life. Children were invited to  dress up, touch props and join in with call and response lines.

The children particularly loved the opportunities to participate - whether by touching sensory props, interacting with the performers or simply enjoying the lively songs. The performers were patient, warm and responsive, taking time to adapt their approach so that every child felt part of it. Staff commented on how engaged the children were throughout and how confidently many of them joined in. It was lovely to see pupils smiling, laughing and fully absorbed in the experience. 

Overall, the sensory production was a joyful and inclusive event that made the magic of theatre accessible to all. We look forward to welcoming the company back again in the future.
