Year 4 Ark Synagogue Trip

On Tuesday 24th June our Year 4 pupils and staff hopped on the 282 to Northwood’s Ark Synagogue. The children had a wonderful time exploring the synagogue - it was a rich and engaging experience from start to finish.

One of the most powerful moments was when Rabbi Aaron opened the Ark; the sense of awe and reverence in the room was absolutely unforgettable. The children spoke about it all the way back to school!

We were so impressed by the way the Rabbi answered each question with such care and clarity. His responses were thoughtful, age-appropriate, and sparked even more curiosity. The level of engagement with every activity was fantastic—it was clear how much effort had gone into making the experience both educational and fun for Coteford.

The songs were a real highlight. The children loved singing along.

The fantastic morning was finished off with a picnic lunch on the green at Eastcote Cricket Club.
