JUBILEE DAY CELEBRATIONS
There are SO MANY cakes in school - we can smell the sugar in the Office! We've had a fantastic day of Jubilee celebrations:- singing, competitions, a picnic and cake sale. We all dressed in red, white and blue and we sang the national anthem at the tops of our voices! We celebrated our lovely Lollipop Lady, Yvette and every class created something for our TIME CAPSULE which will be opened in 100 years - what a day!
A group of Coteford children will be attending the QUAD KIDS Borough Athletics today, at the Hillingdon Athletics Stadium. They will all take part in:
- Vortex Throw
- Standing Long Jump
- 75m Sprint
- 600m Run
Good luck everyone!
J.F.'s made a yummy, flavoursome chicken pizza pie this week. The Y6 teachers dropped in as guests of honour to critique and take part in some taste-testing. Verdict: delicious!
Mrs Qureshy's new Y6 Foodies Club started this week:
Mrs Q: 'The first Junior Foodies was a massive success - we made Spicy Chicken Karahi and paratha to mop it up!'
Today, our children have all had a chance to find out what Eid means for our pupils of Musilim faith. We had two fantastic assemblies which were led by Mrs Qureshy and some of our (beautifully dressed!) students. Also, we all had a non-uniform day for all - with the option of wearing our best Eid outfits!
