• Ys 3&4: READING CURRICULUM EVENING for Parents

  Wednesday 30th November at 6pm -7pm : Join us for a Reading information evening and a chance to see some practical ideas for teaching reading and sharing books at home. The ability to read well changes children’s lives. Includes practical demonstrations from Mrs Eckley & Mr Harding. Please join us and gain some new ideas.

  We still have have assemblies and class activities to come too. 

  The theme is 'Reach Out' if you are being bullied or if you see bullying. All of our staff are trusted adults and will be ready to help.

  

• ANTI-BULLYING WEEK

  School Anti-Bullying Week from Monday 14th Nov

  Your child is invited to wear BLUE clothes on Wednesday 16th November to mark Anti-Bullying Week. No money is required.

  As part of Anti-Bullying Week, in our PSHE lessons and in assemblies, we will be discussing all forms of bullying, using materials from the Anti-Bullying Alliance.  Bullying is wrong behaviour which makes the person being bullied feel afraid or uncomfortable. We need to unite against bullying. Please read through the advice attached to your Parentmails from the Anti-Bullying Alliance regarding bullying, as preparation for our Anti-Bullying Week. • GIRLS' FOOTBALL SUCCESS!

  Coteford took part in the Hillingdon Girls' Football Cluster this week and were very successful.  They played four games:- won two games (2-0 and 6-0), drew one (2-2) and lost one game (3-0).  Everyone worked extremely hard and our coaches, Mr Perrin and Mr Belinga, were delighted with their performance!

  

• DIWALI CELEBRATIONS!

  We had a fantastic dress-up day for Diwali and enjoyed learning about how our children and colleagues of Hindu and Sikh faiths celebrate this special time.  Some amazing outfits, as always!

  

• COTEFORD IS A CO-OP 'LOCAL CAUSE'!

  Huge thank you to the Co-op for supporting us as their Local Cause!  Their members have raised nearly £2,000 for our library, which will be updated with fabulous non-fiction books.  They have supported us with Cinema Nights, Cake Sales and planting our garden area.  THANK YOU CO-OP!
