  • ATTENDANCE at COTEFORD - In School & On Time!

    Mon 15 May 2023 D.Selfe

    Attendance Initiatives at Coteford

We are working hard to improve attendance at Coteford - we would like as many of our lovely students to get as much of their education as they can! Poor attendance and punctuality has a huge impact on children's welfare both socially and academically. If a child's attendance is below 90%, this is classed persistently absent by LBH.

    Attendance Champions & Ambassadors

Miss Grainger and Mrs Goodison in the Office are our ATTENDANCE CHAMPIONS.  They have appointed ATTENDANCE AMBASSADORS and these children will meet monthly to brainstorm ways to keep improving school attendance and help to run our attendance rewards:

    Attendance Ambassadors

Year 3:  Alyssa, Jessica O, Jenson

    Year 4:  Tallulah, Jack A

Year 5:  Shivam, Mila, Shreya, Joseph

    Year 6:  Lexie, Mya

    Attendance Rewards

Our autumn term Attendance Reward was a very well-attended PIZZA PARTY and this term we will be running a SCAVENGER HUNT with prizes for students with excellent attendance.  Our final Attendance Superstar award of the year will be a SUMMER PARTY on the field, we hope to see lots of you there!

In addition, for every half term that your child has full attendance, they will have their name put in the draw to win an I-PAD at the end of the year.  Good Luck everyone!

From September, we will be implementing new incentives to keep up great attendance. We are so happy to of seen such a great improvement this year - Thank you to students and parents for all of your continued effort.
